I do!

I think sex robots would work very well based upon the name: For sexual
gratification especially for men.  I've seen a number of ways the
technical solution has been approached including a combination
"virtual reality/hologram" such as on "The 7th Day" with Arnold
Schwartzeneggar.  Such robotic partners would not be good for a lasting
relationship, but would satisfy the sexual requirements of men
similar to visiting a brothel.

In other words, a robot would be similar to "outsourcing" the work
of a brothel which is why it would probably work very well for men
but maybe not very well for women who are unwilling to pay for
shallow sexual relationships.

The next question would be whether a robot could be programmed to
be superior to a man.  That brings up an interesting thought:
Certainly since the times of modern feminism, men have been
continually reprogrammed to satisfy the needs of women: He should
be "sensitive" or "liberated" and willing to change diapers and
"listen" to women.  Such easily manipulated men largely leave
these women unsatisfied and angry.  Women desire a strong, powerful
man who has the ability to dominate her.  In other words, based upon
observation, it's unlikely a programmed robot would satisfy women
in any way.  They would probably use one to similar a queer to go
shopping for shoes though...

Not really.  We can't assume all of these women will have children at
an adequate replacement rate.  Until social security is fixed, there
won't be money for national daycare or healthcare (outside of moving
to France and learning Arabic.)

The number of foreign women moving to the US as brides is statistically
insignificant.  I think it's about 150K out of the millions
of people who marry each year.  On the other hand, enough men do
marry a foreign woman for local American men to make a comparison.
I notice it's a hot topic for the media: When it's briefly mentioned,
in whatever context, ratings soar.
