Hey Alan!

 AI> I'm running arch linux

I have been tempted to take it out for a spin in the past but so far haven't.
Too much oddball hardware here for a regular distribution, the latest being the
Intel Atom C2758 based box. Not much help so I am feeling my way through the
dark on it as we speak. Managed to get hot swapping sata drives and the
astdrmfb frame buffer device working so far. I might have another go at
qemu/kvm but perhaps xorg first. Haven't decided yet.

AI> I can't get high ascii to display

That is because there is no such thing. It is a myth created by silly IBM/MS
dweebs more than a couple decades ago. In NA it is cp437 that most people got
suckered into using for 8-bit characters in DOS. That is probably what you
want although I am guessing arch linux is defaulting to utf-8 which is VASTLY
superior to all codepages/charsets and the such.

Life is good,
Maurice

... Don't cry for me I have vi.
