Hello Maurice. 02 Oct 03 16:06, you wrote to me: RT>> Well, it creates the QWK packet in the OLR directory, so, it RT>> should be possible to get it moved elsewhere, so binkd, ftp or RT>> other transport means could be used. We'll see but I figure at least the BBS will have MK> that capability even if I don't. Kermit should work no problem MK> though. After that I'm thinking ftp transfer. Well, my thinking would be that Max will get an extra option, say, QWK and BinkD/P for mail exchange. When BinkD/P is chosen as the protocol to be used, the mail packet, whatever format the user has chosen, would be created, and moved to a directory (BinkD mailbox) where it can be fetched, got using a BinkD client or FTP client for that matter, provided that the correct user names/passwords are given, as configured in the user section of Max. Could work. :-)) Russell --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.4.7* Origin: Rusty's BBS - Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa (5:7105/1) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 7105/1 7106/22 7102/1 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
