no clue but i would use the "Repair networking" option on that W7
box to hopefully ensure that there's nothing being injected into the
networking stack... i would also run bootup virus scans using several
malware and AV scanners to make sure the machine is clean... i've seen
similar stuff like this but it was back in the day when the DNS Changer
malware thing was active...
