Hey Bob! Oct 05 20:05 03, Bob Jones wrote to Maurice Kinal: MK>> "Treasure Island"? BJ> No. The opening sceen from the text based adventure game..... Ah! I obviously don't get out much anymore. BJ> Since you enjoy console stuff, I thought you might have been old BJ> enough to recognize that one..... Oh, well.... Senility rearing it's ugly head perhaps. Actually I was never much of a gamer on the computer. Card games but not anymore. I like tinkering and tweaking. BJ> Maybe I finally have a game or two I'd be willing to add as a door to BJ> my Maximus BBS setup..... I guess I should look up the source code BJ> and see if the game's engine is still in FORTRAN..... Cool! Why didn't you say so. I've done Fortran but not for some years now. Always had it in the back of my mind though as I have (had? It's on floppies so I don't know if they're any good any more) much Fortran source from those days that I was thinking of porting. Trouble with that idea is that I keep finding better stuff. :-/ Anyhow, I now have everything I needed to get done up to snuff so it looks like I'm ready to start putting the boots to protocols/transfers and the such. Will keeep you apprised as things progress. Life is good, Maurice --- Msged/LNX 6.1.1* Origin: LMBrain Pointy System (1:153/401.1) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 153/401 307 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
