When the programs "don't work", what are the symptoms? GPF?
System reports an error? System crash? Nothing at all?

If it helps, I have had some problems with .dll's created with case
sensitive/insensitive linkage. Both the application AND the .dll must be
linked either insensitive to case or sensitive to case, so long as they are
the same. Could be as simple as that.
