subject: Downgrading Flash

I've upgraded my modem to the 33.6K Flash (V1.440-12-V34-DS) and can connect
up to 33600, but am having a problem with FD recognizing the connect speed.
The dial box will come up, the modem will connect, but no session box pops up
if the connection is above 28800.
I've entered the Connect 31200 and Connect 33600 strings into FDSETUP to no
avail.
How can I return the modem to 28800 (lower ROM version)? I've tried once and
it told me that "no information is available" for my modem and I can't flash
it to get it back to V.1300-07.
Did I flash the modem correctly, or must it be flashed in steps to get it to
the V1.440-12 level? It would seem I missed a few flashes in there
mewhere.
I appreciate any help you can give me, thanks.
