I just checked "Bird Owners Home Health and Care Handbook" by Gallerstein,DVM
and he says "...edible trees such as maple,ash,...and fruit and nut trees
are safest." I thought somewhere I was told to not to use branches from my
cherry trees.  Sorry I gave advice without check a reliable source first ;).
