Well hello there.. Must be cold around your town at this time of year..
well here in Greenville SC we have about 7 diffent services..
1 is the county EMS service.. 12 + ambulances -all ALS and 3 rescue
trucks - run about 30,000 calls a year - all emergency and 911 calls..
2 is MedShore (AMR Service) runs both emergency and non-emergency calls
3 is Mobile Care runs interhospital and non-emergency calls
4 is Greenville Tec -runs back up calls for the hospital system and
works special events-also does all the EMT training and Paramedic Degree
program training..
5 is Regional Ambulance Service - they do mostly non-emergency calls and
is a private service..
6 is Carolina Ambulance - a small service 2 basic EMT ambulances
7 is a private service called Bowers Ambulance -part time service- only
does special events
