Near as I can tell - besides the xorg libs - openbox requires pango/cairo/glib
as it's dependencies, not counting the libs it strongly suggests one should
have.  If I am not mistaken xfce requires gtk2++, no?  Mind you almost all gui
apps these days require gtk2++ so I doubt it would be easy to escape providing
it.  :::sigh:::
