BK> Interesting discussion on the Defiant... Cisco "is"
BK> supposedly one of the designers or will be as soon as
BK> it's doncumented. They're working on some new
BK> documentation during the hiatis..
Nice to know that they're going to give us more info about the Defiant. In
the episode The Search, Part 1, when the Defiant first appeared, Sisko
indicated that he'd been in charge of the shipyard where it was built, so it
would make a lot of sense for him to have been heavily involved with its
design, and we've been assuming this all along.
BK> One of the guys is a heavy sci-fi freak.. just found a
BK> model of the flying sub from VTTBOS and he has
BK> blueprints for the seaview! Chuckle.
The Flying Sub was rereleased a couple of years ago, so it's not difficult to
find. If he's building the Seaview to scale with the Flying Sub model
(1/72), it'll be one *BI-I-IG* model. :-) Sounds like the project a friend
of mine wants to do - a 1/48 TOS Enterprise, which would be on the order of 6
metres (20 feet) long.
BK> DS-9 ops is getting a rebuild as is normal,
I figured it would when Kira gave the order to the 'puter and all the control
screen blew up.
BK> OOHH YES! INteresting note about Trials and Tribulations:
BK>
BK> It you look closely at the "new" K-7 station.. there's
BK> a bay at the bottom of the stations with a standard TOS
BK> style shuttle in it and also Cyrano Jones ship. On the
BK> wall in the back of the bay a sign reads: "Welcome to K-
BK> 7, now go home." :)
I'd heard about this. Too bad it wasn't visible on screen...
