 Actually, the Traxxas Nitro Hawk is not just a beginner truck, it is raced, 
and is a very got and capable machine...i happen to own one, and with just a 
few mods it has become VERY quick..i just added an aluminum flywheel, 
bearings, and MIP 360 Stinger pipe and it FLIES..:)  And for the sandmaster, 
don't bother, its chassis is plastic and it only has a .10 engine, and there 
is no flywheel access so if the pull start breaks yer outa luck, and the 
turnbuckles aren't adjustable...hope that points you in the right direction..
