It's just that some of us don't want the Maximus/Squish effort to become a
"Linux only" project, and attitudes like Maurice Kinal have
posted here seem to be pushing for that exact thing. There tends to be an
attitude of exclusivity held by some Linux "fans", whereby Linux
developments tend to disregard the needs of other OS's.

Considering that development on this project stopped in the mid-nineties
and Maximus/Squish sysops have been waiting a /long/ time for any new
developments, any improvements that can be made are badly needed by /all/
Maximus/Squish sysops, regardless of their choice in OS. Their OS choices
should be accomodated as far as possible.
