Heh, my wife has one, too, though it's MPMan brand - radio, mp3 player and
voice recorder in a very small package, which also works as a usb memory
stick. She loves it, and I haven't gotten to event try it yet...

piece of junk and out of manufacture Phillips brand player died on her.  So
this past weekend I was in Frye's and they had this very tiny (1 inch by 2
inches by 1/4 inch) 512mb MP3 Player, Voice/Music Recorder, and FM Radio.

Creative brand Nano Plus.

I was amazed at how good it was in sound quality and features for such a
tiny package.  It has standard mini-plug line out/headphone jack, line in
for recording direct from a CD Player, and USB connection for transferring
MP3's from your PC.  It was marked 79.99 but rang up for 69.99.  My wife
loves it.  I hadn't seen her this excited over a present in a long time.
She puts Rush Limbaugh's 3 hour radio show (w/o commercials) that she
downloads from his subscription based web site and then listens to the show
while working in the yard and exercising.

So far, knock wood, seems to be a good purchase.
