Plug the car in when you get home, set the timer, and KW> it'll charge at off-peak time. At 8 cents a kwh, that is only 24 cents for a full charge. Probably hard to meansure how long that charge lasts, since the engine does some charging as well. My neighbor owns a Chevy Volt. That car makes zero noise. You can only hear the tires rolling on the road and that is it. Sort of like driving a golf cart. - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.50* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 280 640/384 712/0 620 848 770/1 @PATH: 261/1304 1 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
