Well, I got "What Lies Behind" ready for uploading. The files
are all sitt= ing there on the hard
drive waiting for the opportunity to upload to the site. Long weekends,
un= fortunately, are
hard on finding time for that. Of course, if I could ever find out the
rea= sons why Windows XP
is making uploading onto the Web such a hassle, I'll be a happier person.
I'm working on the final run of stories for series two, currently on "All's=
Quiet On the Antispinward
Front." This story contains the likely-to-be-a-classic scene with
Thorpe a= nd two other captains
having a "formal" dinner on board a Klingon ship (hint: blood
wine makes Ca= ptain Thorpe violently
ill).
Two more stories and then the two-parter "Confluence" to be
written... and = then what? I don't
know. At the same time, I'm working on the Captain Johnson story
("The Gaz= e of Night,"
12 of 22 chapters done) and editing the "Athena" novel. I'm
still deciding=
whether to post the
novel all at once or chapter by chapter as I do the second editing pass.
Well, you did want to know.
