Hmmm ... removed the jumper entirely, put it in the storage position and it is behaving itself, must now just find the time to put FreeBSD 4.7 on it, (believe 5.0 is latest), and convince lilo to boot it. Don't know my "stuff" as well as I'd like, but generally I am pretty good a following instructions, and occasionally I learn something in the process, then maybe I am selling myself a little short.
