Wrong.  *I'm* using the lowest cost, lowest maintenance
solution. I haven't applied any patches since July 2003 when I built this
machine. I don't have a virus scanner or spyware scanners. I'm running a
small switch/router that blocks incoming only, but for a long time I didn't
even have that. About the only thing I do is update the browser to the
latest build every 6 months or so (I use Firefox).
