subject: Re: notebook battery advice?

From: Ellen K.

Warning: Ignorance about to be revealed!

1.
     A. Is that 3 hours if I have 2 batteries in it, or 3 hours if I
have 1 battery in it?
     B. If the latter, how long will I be able to run if I have 2
batteries in it?
     C. Will I get more time by having one battery in it which I change
out when it gets low, or two batteries in it from the get-go?

2. What do you mean by "extra powersource"? The only power I
know about is a battery or an adapter for plugging into the wall. Is there
something else?

3. Do you have the 7200 RPM drive? And/or do you agree with George that
the 5400 will be a turtle?

.................

Separately, glad to hear you think the D610 is a good choice, thanks.
