T Series ThinkPads have the option of a 9 cell battery that will give you
between 4 and 5 hours per charge (when new). The battery (i.e. the extra
cells) protrude(s) slightly beyond the rear of the ThinkPad. I would never
go back to a regular battery if I had a choice.
Antti's adapter suggestion is a good one. I have three adapters - work,
home 1, home 2, which save schlepping the extra bulk and weight around.
