Well, yes and no. I have two children diagnosed ADHD and one I suspect is, 
ut
doctors are expensive and it's not to the point of emergency yet.
My oldest is also developementally delayed and I feel that the vocation
oriented public school program he's in is best for his needs.
My third child, age 8, is the one I feel really needs the homeschooling. Her
older sister is totally sold on the idea, but Rebecca wavers from day to day 
in
her enthusiasm. The thing is, she ends up doing most of her public school 
ork
at home anyhow! What ended up happening last year was that the poor child 
would
be stuck with as much as 10 hours or so of school a day! She had the 6 hours 
at
school and then up to four hours after school completing the assignments she
had trouble sitting through at school...yes, she's on medication. The school
just sends her home if she doesn't have it.
She is a very bright child who marches to the beat of her own drummer. The
prob;lem is that it's not the schools drummer. In fact, sometimes I think the
drummer's on some other planet somewhere!
