Camino 1.0 seems lots better.  It's my default browser, for the moment.

Firefox on Mac is noticeably slow, especially on the first load of the
morning.  I also have even worse luck with FF extensions on the Mac than I
do on Win - and I'm positively accursed on FF Win.  Things break for me
that work for others.  But then I'm fussy about flaky things.

And Safari has its crankinesses, as well.  Its Java stinketh, for one.
