Considering the high cost of new equipment and the service reputation of
some Japanese companies I will just keep using the Drakes. There are no
guarentees that anything you buy new will be serviced by the the
manufacturer in 5 years or that parts will be available anyway. Ebay aside
for $3000 plus dollars I can buy a lot of TR-7's HI HI. Over all Drakes are
pretty reliable and easily fixed.
