I haven't watched the video yet but I could have told you that ;-)

Usually the fingertip touch tells you of a DRAM problem. If it's a C64C
it is almost certainly a DRAM problem if you get a black screen. I've
had to replace many.

Check the power supply ripple on the 5V, the DRAM really doesn't like it.
