Run, dont walk to www.webmin.com, and d/l and install webmin. This is a
fantastic web based admin tool for linux that supports plug-ins and a
thriving 3rd party plugin development community.  Gives you all the
advantages of the Windows NT control panel and services applet etc. I have
it managing all of my samba setups, nfs setups, NIS setup, postgresql
servers etc.
