My wife uses gardening as relaxation therapy - it's a physical activity,
not a mental one. I suspect your wife does too. It's easy to follow threads
in talk radio while gardening. I've just spent a couple of weeks helping my
mother clear 45 years of detritus out of the family home in preparation for
selling it. She's a talk radio fan too, and that's what we had as
background while we worked. I found it easy to follow the threads myself
while performing mechanical sorting work.
