FWIW, I'd prefer to have TSEPro assert itself as the default for any
normally supported file type (i.e. txt, html, etc) that has no default at
the time of install, and then ask about the others that do have
associations in an easy-to-use format - perhaps a sheet of check boxes.

For example, I have no association (or even the default notepad?) for txt
files and .C and .H files. I have some inferior product associated with
.html, .css, and .php. TSE's install would set itself for .txt, .c and .h
and then all the others would be on a page of "check these to make TSE the
default editor for that file type".

I would not make it just take over any file type though.
