Charles,
Now that reminds me of the time......Back when we lived in Penna. our 2nd
son worked for a bus company in another small town nearby. I'd been searching
for the frequency for a while with little or no success. Somewhere I came
across a frequency I thought might be it, but had no proof. One day I sat
down, turned on the scanner to do some serious checking. Pretty soon the
suspect frequency keys up and a male voice at the other end, says, Bus So and
So calling, Blank Bus Lines. The voice repeated the same thing. Then said
I am stuck on a back road after following one of our school buses to make
sure she got through. Couldn't make it up over the last hill due to ice and
snow. You guessed it! It was my son! I got my positive ID that day!
I've laughed about that one for years!
