Gack.  $500 with four cables.  I'm going to need one of these things soon.

On the low end, I finally decided to put Win2k on a couple of PII Sony VAIO
laptops.  They'll only take 192MB, unless I fiddle something.  I was
surprised at how usable the machines are, one app at a time (they're
basically just props, displaying static screens).  And they actually
suspend now.  (They just crashed under 98OE, and had that incurable
shutdown disease.)

And I finally can use Power DVD 5, but only if I first set
800x600xmillions. Otherwise the NeoMagic256 stutters (probably only a 4MB
card). So there you have the lower limits.
