I don't think 'tad' used in the way this thread started with using 'tad' is
slang....  at least for English on the North American continent....  Ok....
 Time to pull out my dictionary.....  Let's see -- two definitions.  (1)
boy (possibly from toad -> tadpole).  (2)  A small or insignificant
amount or degree.  (example: ...looked a tad bigger than me.....)

Let's see....  I consider the squish message base format a tad better than
the Jam format....  But that's just from disuccions years ago and may no
longer be valid.
