subject: Re: Using Win2K Resource Kit`s Regback.exe and RegRest.exe on XP

From: "Gary Britt"

Yes I've got ERUNT and NTRegopt. Both from the same person. I guess for
safety's sake I'll have to rewrite the batch file that I run at startup to
make use of the ERUNT program instead of the regback program I use now.

My computers are not the corporate locked down workstations so I don't have
permissions problems to worry about mostly.

Why do a lot of people refer to System Restore Points as
"bloated" and resource hogs? Are they merely talking about the
disk space used by a lot of restore points? There are a couple of methods
for clearing out old restore points.

Thanks,

Gary
