Hi there, Jason!

Jason Fesler was discussing 'Re: WaterGate - plans for 0.92' with Chris Stone
on 08/06/96:

CS> Got another one coming down the pike soon. I am writing one called
CS> uuMail. It's in early alpha stages now, but coming along quickly.
CS> Initially it will include direct support for WildCat, and I may add
CS> support for other systems directly later. Fun package to write! ;-)

JF> Cool. WC definately needs assistance :-). Some WC people are
JF> using GIGO, but most need something easier that's a little
JF> more plug-n-pray.

I have also used Gigo in the past (purchased it from you quite some time ago).
But disliked having to go through the PKT stage (double processing) to get it
all to the BBS. Same with WaterGate (which I also purchased recently but have
addressing troubles with). Have another package (viaUUCP) which I've been
using that is written specifically for WildCat - but I don't like the way it
handles alot of things. I've been flooded with requests to become a beta site
since the word got out about my package! ;-) Seems to be alot of others in the
same boat as I am. ;-)

JF> Not sure how fast your pipe is :-) if you need drive space
JF> at ftp.gigo.com, you're welcome to it. As well, Burt Juda
JF> collects the stuff at ftp.fidonet.org, as well as mirrors
JF> whatever I put up at my site. Both he and I are using T1's
JF> for FTP and WWW.

My ftp and www sites are on T-3 lines at my ISP. Wish I could get an ISDN or
T-1 line installed here, but since I live in the mountains (very rural) here
west of Denver, they want my son, wife and a small fortune to install the
T-1, and the ISDN is not even available.

I may take you up on this later as I get closer to release though. Appreciate
the offer!

Regards,

Chris Stone
