I would sure think so.  The basics are all the same, and the stuff that works 
in 3.0 works still in 5.0.  5.0 is a lot like the jump from 2.0 to 2.5 
(assuming DOS in both cases).  It adds new stuff, and fixes bugs, but for the 
most part is completely compatible with the earlier one (other than the fact 
that neither one will run the others fxp's and such).
