Odd thing, I've been compiling kernels on Gentoo for years now, and when I just
tried upgrading from 3.17 to 3.18 the kernel modules failed on me. Sticking
with the last 3.17 in the Gentoo stable tree for now until I find out why it's
failing, or another kernel comes out.

My Arch system is using 3.18-6 or something like that, and working fine. So I
don't know what the deal was with the other system yet. May be a good time to
just wipe Gentoo and go with Arch on that one too. :)

Regards,
Nick
