I agree.  I tried to install procps again, this is the output.

root@debian:~# apt-get install procps
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
procps is already the newest version.


Yet....

root@debian:~# uptime
-bash: uptime: command not found


I'd love to force a reinstall of procps, but I can't find the proper command
to do so.
