From: "Antti Kurenniemi"
They all suck, and they're all pretty good - because from the looks of
things, they're all more or less based on the same components internally.
I've got SMC, ZyXel, D-Link, A-Link and Linksys (for myself, relatives,
friends and so on), and I think I've had to replace just about exactly one
of each because of a HW failure, but eventually all brands work.
I'd maybe go for ZyXel at the moment, but that's just because I've got one
at home and I haven't even noticed it's there, so it feels like a solid
enough piece of hardware. One thing to note: some home units have a
built-in USB printer server, which is pretty neat. It can be a bit weird to
set up, but I use one at my office and it works really well (it's SMC).
