-> Just wanted to say hi. I've been lurking in the shadows for the last -> few months while I go to school to learn the basics. I've finished the -> class, passed the skills and am now waiting for next Thursday to get -> here so I can take the Texas EMT-B certification. The last four and a -> half months have been most interesting. I will be joining the local -> volunteer service. -> Any tips for the new guy? -> Mark Elliott -> --- Via Silver Xpress V4.4P [Reg] -> --- InterEcho 1.19 Well first of all welcome..second good luck on you test..now you want some advice..well try to remember the things that you learn in class and study the patients that you treat.. make them the number one thing out there and try to treat them to what you learned in class.. don't let the other members of the squad tell you how to treat the patient..even if they have been doing it longer..or better if you are the third person on the ambulance then try to make the best recemended treatment to the other crew as best you can and treat and transport as fast as possible when need be the case.. Hope this helps to get you started !!
