Folks
I'm looking for a DOS based database program which will
- create executables which can
- run on 286's with monochrome moniters
- be distributed royalty free
- reasonably quick to program
- desirable features include
- built in drop down lists to select codes from
other tables.
- relational database
It'd be nice if it had a Windows counterpart for which porting
is very easy. But, if required, I'll just use MS Access ADT to
create an Access version.
The application required has a bunch of verification and code tables
but doesn't have any bizarre quirks. It's actually quite straight
forward.
I suspect that FoxPro may fit the above needs including the Windows side
of things. While Clipper has the DOS capability I suspect it'd be a
fair amount of work setting it up. Any thoughts?
So does Paradox for DOS or the latest DBase, or additional cost sytems,
create executables?
Thanks, Tony
