Ergo the entire Vulcan culture is a lie. If that isn't deconstruction, I
don't know what is.

Nothing to admit, it's Congenator in the womb if you will. It doesn't pass
my Star Trek test so it gets left on the floor.
The idea here that the ideas of Gandhi are spread by violent thugs doesn't
really make it. It wasn't thought out or considered. War for peace is
like having sex for virginity. A nonviolent movement cannot win the point
with violence, it eats itself.
The idea was always that the Vulcans a war mongering people that, at the
urging of a messiah, turned their backs on violence and became a peaceful
honest people. Now TPTB want us to believe they used the same underhand
tactics to achieve the peace and reason they used before it.
To abuse a phrase, it's not logical. And it wouldn't work.
The message here is that the ends justify the means, That has been the
"message" that sneaks into DS9 through the back door, and was the
principle operating procedure for Voyager.
The real Star Trek moment is when Picard stands up to "The
Drumhead" and says "We are better than that." That is the
Star Trek I want to write, read, and watch. Well they don't make it
anymore. Forgive me if I still write it that way.
