It's all part of living where I live but I am used to dry heat. Putting up
with 100F with 3-8% humidity out in the Mojave Desert is one thing. This
humidity is something else but that's what you get when you have the
maritime tropical airmass sitting over you pumping in moisture straight from
the Gulf of Mexico. But the temperature will be dropping soon as we'll be
falling into autumn (yes, pun intended).

People love the heat here. Thankfully I go from my air conditioned pad to
my air conditioned car to my (somewhat) air conditioned job so it's not as
bad as it could be, I guess. As a stand-up comedian friend of mine says,
"What do you do when it's hot? Peel off your skin?" :D
