Sorry, my good man. That's just yet another thing you'll have to live with in
regards to Debian. There may be an external package available, but on both my
Gentoo and Archlinux systems, it's working perfectly. :(

Mind you, Debian is real stable (then again, how stable is that when they're so
far behind *actual* stable releases from the software developers themselves),
but it just doesn't keep up with the times, at all.
