Quoting PHIL COAKLEY to ALL concerning 4-Track mix/rec:
PC>Can anyone suggest an acceptable brand/model of a 4-track mixer/recorder
>(standard cassete), suitable for amateur recordings?
If it's in your price range, consider a four track minidisc recorder. The
four track minidisc format is a year or so old.
If you have a Pentium or P-Pro, e.g., add a Jazz drive and audiophile
sound card or 3, plus software, and have eight, sixteen, or more
tracks, with a range of digital eq, compression, limiting, & more.
This option also gives 96khz sampling, ensurance for "pro" results.
