I was drawn to this echo because the title "Alternative Medicine" suggested 
to me that I might learn something about alternatives to traditional 
edicine.
 
After several hundred readings, I realize that some readers consider the echo 
to be "Alternatives to Any Kind of Medicine At All", others like myself 
consider it to be "Alternatives to Prescription Medicine" (herbology, e.g.) 
and still others want it to be "Prevention vs. Cure".
 
There are many erudite viewpoints expressed here and I admit that they are 
all interesting to me except for the political debates and the backbiting 
which seem out of place.
 
Will continue to watch, however.
