Hello Benny!

So now after 2 days work with some hours pause have I now made a clean Gentoo
install on a 1TB harddisk with 64bit install as x86_64 system.
And the only problem there end up after a reboot with grub2 was the network by
the netcards changed fro eth to enp names.
The processor on it is the same as my running fido1 node 230/150 is having.
I have here end up with got network connection working so it says it is fido3,
and then checked the internet connection.
Then updated /etc/portage/make.conf use flags and lines to match fido1 node
230/150 settings.

Then run 'emerge -e @world'
The is there a command I now not sure if I should run for clean up after emerge
has to run.

The kernel her on it is now 3.17.8-r1
I have too the grub2 workig on it.

The in a test run of packers run emerge for zip unzip rar unrar lha zoo but
emerge arj and unarj gives compile errors.
I is my though to make this install to have all the fidonet program install as
my fido1 node 230/150 have.
so when this last emerge @world is done finish for the around 189 files there
has been cleaned up afte is done to starting on first a email to get fidonet
files like binkd and husky to be installed first on it by layman and etc.

  Take care,
            Gert
