As for portability MK> there are other, and perhaps even better, ways to deal with compatibility MK> issues. Why? Because as the porting to Linux is proceeding, certain fixes in the code are being made, and improvements may also follow. In particular, there are limitations in the Squish/32 bit version, and those are being removed and bugs are being fixed. Porting it back to Windows may allow Windows users to finally have a new, better version of Squish available to them. Remember, other than a Y2k bug fix, there really hasn't been any new development at all of Maximus/Squish since the mid-nineties. Although there are stable versions of Max/DOS, Max/OS2 and Max/WIN, that doesn't mean that newer, improved versions of Maximus for those OS's is not worth persuing. --- Mystic BBS v1.07.3 (DOS)* Origin: MikE'S MaDHousE -- WelComE to the AsYluM!
