subject: Reciprocal licensing

Hello,

I'm currently hold a (no-code) Tech license issued by the FCC. I thought
that the U.S. participation in CEPT might let me use my HT next time I
visit Britain, but Wikipedia says that to operate under CEPT, operators
"Must be citizens of the country in which they hold their
license"[1]. I'm not a U.S. citizen: I'm British and a legal
permanent resident in the U.S. Would I need some sort of special permit
from the U.K. Office of Communications?

73,
