Look. I am not calling this guy a saint. Truth be told I dislike his
railing as much as the next guy.
However, Being of a like cut, I can understand where that anger comes
from. I have been there. If you have never felt that kind of
frustration and disapointment then I am truthfully happy for you. But
in the same breath I am telling you that you can have no real
compassion for the pain he feels either.
If you had any sense of empathy for another human being's pain you
wouldn't constantly be blaming everything on the person that has the
unmitigated foolishness to open their mouths in protest against the
way things have gone for them.
And if you cannot accept the fact that a person is more a product of
their experiences than anything else then you are simply fooling
yourself. Try this exercise. Most people can remember a couple of
pivital moments in their lives. Try thinking about yours and then try
to think how things might be different had one little thing changed or
had the moment never happened.
