subject: Re: replacment apple joystick button switches

I found the information that I originally used.

Josh

I discovered with one of my //e joysticks with non-functional buttons
that contact cleaner did the trick. Disassemble the joystick and
unclasp the buttons. Be careful as there are little springs between
the
buttons tops and the actual mechanism that can pop off. Douse the
mechanism in contact cleaner and work it in. Worked for me.
I spent quite a bit of time getting the joystick *feel* to work well.
You really need to finesse the movements to keep from flailing all
over
the place. I hope I got it.
