Glad you posted -- it's shaping up to be a really useful book. I come
late to Paradox -- after I made the leap from mainframes, I spent most
of my time with VB and Access. Seems like Paradox is somehow not quite
in synch with the programmer mentality -- or my programmer mentality is
not quite in synch with Borland, more likely, but I was having a helluva
time groping my way through their documentation. The book is helping a
lot, and I'm glad to recommend it.

Peter,
You may want to purchase the ObjectPAL Reference Manual from Borland.
It's an updated version for 5.0 and in my opinion well worth the 25-30...

Regards, STeve...

Subj: Paradox 4.5 labels

If a user creates a form/table that forces the initial letter of a name to be
a cap and the rest of the letters in small letter, what is the best way to
force ALL caps when mailing labels are created?
