I have a webcam here that sends a pic to my Canada co-lo server every 2.5
minutes.  When the Comcast link is down, I see an entry in the OpenBSD ftp
proxy log file.

The connection is reliable, maybe an outage once per month for an hour in
the middle of the night.

So what I'm hearing from you is that I shouldn't complain about that outage....
